Notorious musicians Eden MacAdam-Somer and Larry Unger bring together traditional and contemporary acoustic music from around the world, creating a dynamic, swinging sound that is sure to get you on your feet.

Reckless Ramblers
These guys have delighted dancers at many a contra dance weekend.
They have a 2001 recording - lowdown hoedown.

Big Table
a dance band that features prominent players from both the southern and northern dance music traditions. From this blend emerges a strong rhythmic groove over which the fiddle and accordion dance together.

This band churns out driving southern old-time music.

Nat Hewitt and Larry Unger
Nat and Larry (part of the Reckless bands) often play as a duo. They make a big sound -- and provide for a great evening of high energy dancing. From smooth gliding jigs to driving reels, with a little swing and rock-n-roll thrown in, they're sure to please.

Lissa Schneckenburger and Larry Unger
plays for dances and concerts. Lissa is a member of Halali. This newly formed band has played dance weekends and many dances.

Elke Baker and Larry Unger
You might find Elke the Scottish fiddle queen and Larry playing at a contra dance, Scottish dance, or concert.

The Rhythm Method String Band
Well, the name says it all. These folks produce a great southern old-time sound.

Reckless Abandon
This band from the heart of New England is known for their wild contras, smooth swings, fine Irish and crankin' old timey tunes. This band often features a Bill Tomczak as a fourth member.

Mr. Danger
Lookout! They may play a dance near you. Beware of infectious dance music. Laura plays high-energy dance fiddle while Larry churns out the rhythm. Often they are joined by a third, sometimes Mara Beamish on fiddle.
