We started playing together in 2004 and put out our first duo project two years later. Since then, our band, NotoriousFolk, has grown to include many fabulous artists and dear friends: some regulars (Sam Bartlett and Mark Hellenberg), as well as frequent guests (Mark Murphy, Ralph Gordon, Jeremiah McLane, and Taki Masuko). We've had the good fortune to travel all over the world, performing and teaching across the contiguous US, Hawaii and Alaska, as well as Europe, Afghanistan, India, Israel, and the UK.

And so, this new duo album celebrates over ten years of collaboration and includes songs that we have picked up on travels both near and far. It was recorded more-or-less live in the studio, so you're hearing us just as we sound in concert.

Here's to another ten years!
